I teach Pilates as a system
Joseph Pilates taught individuals using his system. One body, many pieces of equipment. This is very much the way I teach. Pilates is more than Reformer or Mat. Pilates utilizes all the apparatus to teach your body how to move outside of the studio, with ease and strength.
When you begin at the very foundation of Pilates, it is transformational. I love what I do and I work with you to inspire that love in you as well. Many of my clients have been with me for years, whether it’s on Zoom, live teaching or through my Patreon.
My Roots
I had a studio in Newbury Park, California. It was a thriving community of clients and teachers coming together with the common love of health and wellbeing. Pilates, Yoga, Nutrition, Meditation. Our family was growing and growing until March of 2020.
My community, although now much smaller, continues to grow outside of the physical location we once gathered in. I miss this community and am grateful for the opportunity to have know the amazing people there.
I hope to connect with Pilates enthusiasts and those who are just curious about Pilates, here in North Carolina.
CHANGE HAPPENS THROUGH MOVEMENT AND MOVEMENT HEALS
- JOSEPH PILATES
Getting Started
Pilates is designed for every body. Given that every body is different, one of the best places to start is by taking a few Private Sessions.
I teach Classical Pilates, classical is the very foundation of the Pilates method. It was originally designed by Joseph Pilates, to correct faulty movement patterns and create alignment, balance and strength in the body. Experience and see for yourself how Pilates will make a difference for you!
I’ve worked with hundreds of clients, many with back, shoulder, hip or knee pain. Pilates can work as a preventative of further degeneration, or as a follow up maintenance after completing PT. In both instances I’ve seen Pilates benefit clients in getting them out of their pain. Always follow the direction of your physician before starting a Pilates program.
